  • Overview

    The Functional Process Expert is responsible for the development, improvement, and implementation of processes pertaining to the ERP solution. This position will serve as a Subject Matter Expert for issues, and will work directly with the corresponding BPO to effectively implement changes to the system.


    Essential Functions:

    • Works to resolve end-user defect tickets related to the ERP solution
    • Manages and executes testing activities to ensure maximum process efficacy
    • Owns specific process design activities, proactively identifies issues, develops fixes, and drives implementation of fixes; coordinates with the BPO to optimize process designs
    • Interacts with and consults power users to understand the training and development needs; provides content and support for change management activity
    • Supports routine tasks and ERP system updates to support daily business operations with valid techniques and methods
    • Designs, plans, and estimates necessary changes to the ERP solution and functional processes
    • Develops and drives business improvement efforts jointly with the business and GBS
    • Provides in-depth process information to the GBS IT process teams and works with Third party support (AMS) through expert understanding of the ERP solution and operations
    • Works closely with GBS IT process teams to assist in problem resolution, issue management, and capability enhancement projects
    • Validates the process and system integration from a user perspective
    • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
    • Performs other duties as assigned



    • Bachelor’s degree in related field required

    Professional Experience:

    • Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a finance role required
    • Prior SAP experience preferred

    • Reaching: extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
    • Lifting: raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position to position.
    • Bending: bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist and/or bending leg; bending legs at knee to come to rest or kneel.
    • Pushing/Pulling: using upper extremities to press against something with steady force in order to thrust forward, downward or outward/using upper extremities to exert force in order to drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
    • Climbing: stairs, stools, ramps, ladders.

    Visual Acuity:

    • Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.
    • Ability to accurately read measurements on equipment.
    • Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
