  • Overview

    The Sales Analyst is responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of sales related data in an on-going effort to increase sales and sales productivity. Additionally, this role will be responsible for creating analytical models related to sales trends, market share, wallet share, commission plans, sales rep performance, target generation and marketing strategy.


    • Collects, analyzes, evaluates and reports sales data in order to increase sales productivity.
    • Validates data integrity.
    • Collects sales data and trends to evaluate performance against sales quotas.
    • Develops and reviews the sales budget and rolling sales forecasting.
    • Drives pricing optimization efforts.
    • Guides and tracks target setting for upcoming years.
    • Establishes and maintains close working relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
    • Communicates sales reporting and forecasting to Senior Management.
    • Analyzes results and sets up reports containing respective conclusions, ideas and general guidance.
    • Ensures current and future data and software requirements are met to provide accurate decisions that support the business.
    • Establishes and maintains close working relationships with key cross-functional stakeholders, including Product Managers, Marketing, Finance and Operations.
    • Conducts market analysis for various product lines.
    • Represents Sales with regards to shaping product development.
    • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.



    • Bachelor’s degree in a business, computer science or life science related discipline required.
    • MBA preferred.

    Professional Experience:

    • Minimum of two years of experience in Reporting and/or Analysis required.
    • Three or more years of experience in Sales and/or Marketing Industry preferred.
    • Expertise in SalesForce including dashboards and reports preferred.
    • Experience writing SQL queries for Coliseum and AX preferred.
    • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required

    Travel Requirements

    • Occasional travel (up to 20% of time) is expected.

    Visual Acuity:

    • Work requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.
    • Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
