  • Overview

    The Senior FICO Analyst provides leadership in shaping the SAP FICO solution at IDT.  They apply their SAP expertise in Financial Accounting and Controlling to design and implement new SAP solutions for IDT while also providing support for IDT’s current SAP solution.

    Responsibilities

    Essential Functions:

    • Participates as a member of an implementation team to design, build, test and implement solutions for the SAP Finance and Controlling modules.
    • Collaborates with the Global Business Solutions team to fix and enhance current functionality as well as implement new functionality based on the requirements set forth by the business.
    • Provides estimations for work necessary to implement enhancements requested by business users.
    • Conducts unit testing and integration testing for break/fix and enhancements.
    • Provide rapid resolution of production critical and customer facing issues and carries out thorough root cause analysis to ensure permanent corrective action is in place.
    • Documents, coordinates and executes cutover and go-live activities.
    • Supports developers during the development process to ensure cohesive functional and technical design.
    • Produces required documentation during design, development, and testing phases.
    • Coordinates with other SAP groups (BASIS, Security, Development, Integration) during development, testing, implementation, and post-production support.
    • Provides post go-live Production Support to business users following a new release.
    • Provides on-call support during critical financial events such as month-end closing.
    • Mentor fellow team members, providing cross-functional and integration knowledge transfer as needed.
    • Communicates highly complex, technical information to non-technical personnel to ensure the successful identification of root cause and corrective action.
    • Follows documented change control process to ensure SOX compliance.
    • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.

    Professional Experience:

    • Minimum of 4-5 years working experience in the areas of SAP FICO - Required
    • Experience working in a team environment and coordinating work across multiple SAP teams - Required
    • Can demonstrate the ability to effectively manage project responsibilities as well as support and enhancement work for the current solution - Required
    • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in a post go-live environment, including experience in resolving issues and implementing enhancements - Required
    • Experience creating detailed functional specifications and work instructions - Required
    • Experience in supporting, designing and building solutions in S4/HANA - Preferred
    • Experience with at least 1 full SAP implementation project - Preferred
    • High-level understanding of ABAP, SAP security, and integration technologies - Preferred
    • Experience in other SAP functional or technical areas - Preferred
    • Experience working in a SOX-compliant environment - Preferred

    Skills:

    • Strong problem-solving skills - Required
    • Strong communication skills - Required
    • Experience working with the gathering of business requirements and implementing solutions - Required
    • Hands on experience with Analysis for Office - Preferred
    • Hands on experience with financial consolidation - Preferred

    Visual Acuity:

    • Work requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
    • Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.
    • Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
