  • Overview

    The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative support to all areas of Human Resources including recruiting, benefits, compensation, reporting, payroll, training, compliance and special projects.


    Essential Functions:

    • Fields employee questions regarding human resources policies and procedures; refers to other HR staff as needed
    • Drafts and maintains HR related communications including those to be displayed on company monitor, HR SharePoint site, and email announcements
    • Prepares offer letters and employment agreements for new hires
    • Communicates new hires details to appropriate internal departments to ensure ample response time for required set ups and preparation
    • Maintains accurate and up to date employee files, i9s, and public access files
    • Securely destroys documents based on retention policy
    • Assists in the finalization and maintenance of job descriptions
    • Manages department expenditures including submitting invoices for payment and tracking expenses
    • Represents the HR department in company committees: Wellness, Volunteering, Social, and Safety
    • Acts as a backup for new hire orientation and assists with onboarding initiatives
    • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
    • Performs other duties as assigned



    • High School diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred


    Professional Experience:

    • Minimum of two years of experience in a Human Resources strongly preferred
    • Proficiency computer skills (MS Office Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
    • Prior experience with using an Applicant Tracking System preferred

    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of IDT associates
