  • Overview

    The Courier ensures the timely delivery of IDT products to customer. This position performs other shipping-related duties such as picking, packing and verifying customer orders.


    • Delivers packages to end users/receiving agents
    • Organizes and follows most efficient route for deliveries
    • Delivers other zone packages to the airport for proper routing and delivery
    • Organizes/routes delivery paperwork.  Collects delivery signatures and routes delivery manifests for customer service to view.
    • Acts as liaison for IDT in terms of customer requests, special handling, delivery logistics, etc.
    • Delivers marketing material and customer contact/ sales information, as needed
    • Performs routine maintenance/cleaning on delivery vehicle (cleaning inside/outside of vehicle, monitoring fluid levels, replenishing fuel)
    • Picks, packs, verifies and processes customer orders to be shipped via local couriers or commercial carriers using various software suites
    • Adheres to safety regulations, SOPs, and contamination controls
    • Communicates with all levels of peers and management
    • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values
    • Performs other duties as assigned by management


    Education, Licensure, Certification, Registration

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record required

    Professional Experience:

    • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred
    • Previous courier experience preferred
