The Sales Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to global IDT sales teams by assisting with the creation of marketing materials for local and regional events, presentations, and quoting and account-specific pricing, as well as creating and reporting on event registration.


Essential Functions:

  • Collaborates directly with the IDT sales team members on field sales requests
  • Executes all phases of sales requests including creating flyers, landing pages, Marketo setup and registration monitoring/reporting
  • Collaborates with Creative team to create event and presentation registration landing page templates
  • Analyzes and tracks field sales requests for regular marketing reports
  • Reports on event/presentation registration to the field sales representative and inside sales representative
  • Collaborates with design and content staff to ensure requests meet branding expectations
  • Coordinates with the Marketing Coordinator on field sales requests that come into the department via the marketing request mailbox
  • Identifies process improvement opportunities
  • Performs other duties as assigned



  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, Marketing or Graphic Design required

Professional Experience:

  • Minimum of three years marketing, advertising or sales experience (preferably within a life sciences organization) preferred
  • Intermediate knowledge and experience with InDesign required
  • Intermediate knowledge with Eventbrite, GoToWebinar, and Marketo preferred
  • Basic web design knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency in a variety of PC software programs with strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office required

Visual Acuity:

  • Work requires close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to read pertinent printed material and distinguish colors.
  • Ability to prepare and read written documentation; use of computer.
