Overview

The Senior SAP Sales & Distribution Analyst provides configuration, business process and development services within the SAP software utilized by IDT. This position includes requirements definition, analysis, development, testing, implementation and support to deliver benefits to the organization, its’ customers and other business partners.

Responsibilities

  • Performs configuration activities within SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Variant Configurator (VC) and other modules using established practices; following standards, reviews.
  • Creates and maintains the VC model including but not limited to Dependencies, Characteristics, Classes, Configuration Profile, BOM’s and Route.
  • Performs configuration activities and fixes within the Variant Configuration and Sales and Distribution modules while keeping in mind impact on upstream and downstream systems.
  • Provides expertise and recommendations in revising configurations within IDT’s systems based on dependencies within SD and VC modules based on changing needs/requirements.
  • Understands SAP VC integration with the web and provides guidance on best approaches for integration of S/4 VC.
  • Interfaces with external consultants in support of business systems and applications.
  • Performs rigorous unit testing, regression and stress testing. Understands the process of writing and executing complex integrated test scripts.
  • Collaborates actively with the team to build robust, scalable and simple solutions.
  • Identifies opportunities and facilitates communication that can improve efficiency of business processes.
  • Provides assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology.
  • Investigates and resolves application functionality, related issues and provides first level support/troubleshooting of our software systems.
  • Defines, documents and monitors the change control process for the VC product model and related engineering change management activities.
  • Demonstrates behavior consistent with the Integrated DNA Technologies Core Values.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience required. 

Professional Experience:

  • Experience in all areas of SAP VC and SD modules (especially in pricing, Logistics execution, Advanced Billing, Intercompany Drop ship and SD master data elements) preferred.
  • Prior end-to-end VC implementation experience preferred.
  • Prior end-to-end S/4 Implementation experience preferred.
